so after a couple of grueling months of raising fund, alhamdulillah we finally managed to raise just enough money to kickstart our very first program outside of KL/Selangor this year. from opening car boot sale by selling all item for RM1 (dapat la seminggu dekat average rm200++) to donation from umat islam yang berhati mulia (dan hebat dimata saya), all we can think of is semoga cukupp la duit utk buat program nih.
lepastu dapat lagik barang2 seperti BERNAS yang derma beras dekat bertan-tan, sewa lori 1 tan tau nak angkat berat to HQ. alhamdulillah. banyak lagi derma yang kami dapat, hanya Allah sahaja yang dapat balas budi baik semua orang.
we headed to Chemor for Sahur and Buka Puasa program which involved 2 different anak yatim homes. Sahur adalah yang paling cute sebab budak2 kecik yang mengantok bangun untuk sahur, ahhh, those were really beautiful moments. tercuit hati nih. bukan setakat budak2 tu yg mengantok, kami ni kalu sorong bantal, hi hi, sama jugak la kaedahnyaaa.
and one of the kid made me wept silently, bilamana, tazkirah subuh tu, one of us tanya one of the kid, apa itu akhlak mulia?
irfan, i remembered him because he is such a witty kid from the beginning, answered, akhlak yang mulia adalah tolong ustaz basuh pinggan.
terus meleleh air mata makkk.
Buka Puasa pula with rumah anak yatim yang ramai dah jadi teruna so it was really good to see them moulded the right way. nasyid pun sedap, boleh jadi imam lagi. alhamdulillah. berkat bulan Ramadhan, kami yang jauh2 ni drive daripada KL pun tak berasa letih sangat. seronok la kan tengok budak2 tu happy.
come to think of it, it is not about helping other people, it is about helping ourselves, to feel bless and grateful of what we have instead of complaining of what we dont have.
