thank you grumpy monster!

after so much hype about non halal japanese food , rice wine, sake and all, i wonder whether i can still go to a jap restaurant with the same feeling again.

kan. aku kalu dah was2, confirm tak masuk tekak.

tetapi selepas kesedihan yang melampau kerana kereta saya masuk workshop, saya jugeee tiada kereta masa weekend dan kawan saya bernafsu makanan jepun time tu, we headed to sakea sushi, klcc.

note: patah kaki ok tak ada kereta nih.

i had my first sakae sushi at the curve (last 3years) and am totally loving it sebab cute. the cute seating, makanan gerak2, pastu ada sistem lagi untuk order makanan uols! u can order ur food thru a computer which was installed at each seat (wah sakae sushi takmo endorse aku ker?)

lepastu dah duduk2 ni, aku tanya la waitress dia.
do you put sake in your sushi (or any food served there?) she said only in tepanyaki.
us, ok we dont order tepanyaki.
padehal tepanyaki discontinued pon hi hi.

aku tanya lagi, do you use sticky rice or wine rice? she said no we dont use alcoholic in our food.

ok fine. lets feast!


hahaha oh boy what a feast we had. i had softshell crab temagi and my friend had california roll sebab ada chuncks of avocado dalam tu LOL tak pernah makan avocado meh?
we also had plates of sushi on the conveyer belt.
sedap lah wei sashimi ya allah we had 2 plates of sashimi okeh. the fresh salmon tu, terasa wahh satu perasaan yang sungguh cantik bila masuk dalam mulut, gaul dengan lidah. LOL

to prove a point, we even went to isetan's supermarket and went gugugaga oooweeee ngeee over fresh salmon flown from japan. wahahahaha.

next time, harus datang lagik! ;p

oh my. it has been what, more than a month?

so whats cooking rot these days?
hm ok lets see, i went to ER twice, eh thrice ker due to the abdominal pain. never had i imagined a gastritis patient has to suffer the pain for hours, i mean hours macam sama lama waktu bekerja. u go figure. huh.

i underwent an endoscopy procedure, happened to be it is not just gastritis. i had a minor swollen cut on my upper small colon, that whenever i had a meal, ya allah, Allah sahaja tahu sakitnya cemanor. there was a time i had to punch my other hand just to distract from the pain, LOL, that was funny lah now, then it was a wise decision. hahaha.

so how cow a foodie like me can enjoy food now?

anyway, that was last 2weeks. this week tidaklah sakit tiap2 hari but there were 2times that i need to go to the hospital to get that painkiller jab, else, i'll turn red (literally) and i can easily kill (literally) everyone that walks my way. yes, serious pain business im dealing there.

i am on medication for nearly 2weeks now tapi nak slowly stop from taking the drugs sebab i rasa tiba2 bowel system macam bermasalah pulak LOL.
gee. lets hope its just for temp. btw, i have a followup checkup with my softspoken specialist this monday, and lets pray all good lah.

god speed the recovery, insyaAllah.

on the hindsight, i know i am loved by many, alhamdulillah *weee!*

perihalnya nasi dagang di kedai no 5

of course lah ini bukan nasi dayang ;p

last sunday, lils, me and few other friends went for nasi dagang breakfast somewhere around tesco ampang. hihi. belakang rumah dahulu kala but never got the chance (or rather not knowing) to go there.

inilah masalah suka makan. i forgot i have a severe abdominal pain, i forgot i have to be on diet for certain types of food but you knowlah, haihh. anyway, that is not the story to share here.

the makcik who was manning the food counter has a lousy PR skill. at that time, there were me and lils (the only ladies), my guy friends and few other male customers.

she gave my guy friends the courtesy to have their food first, ok lah, tak apa lah, lagipun a mat salleh friend was with us so mungkin makcik tu mau tunjuk baik sama mat salleh. entah apa2 mentaliti macamtu. fine.

sekali lelaki2 yang datang lambat daripada kami dapat makanan dulu jugak.

i am not one with patience, so i asked makcik nicely, makcik, kami yang sampai dulu?

makcik, threw the most wicked face close to a witch-trying-to-be-nice-smiley, told me, awak tu perempuan, perempuan kena tunggu semua lelaki dapat makanan dulu.

dem.

tengok muka kami puas2 sbb ini adalah yang terakhir *dalam hati jelah* (eventho mat salleh friend sangat suka sama nasi dagang beliau).

kecik2 lagi dah inherited my big brother's trait, quick temper. haha. tapi sangat comel bila dia cakap, mattikk bwatt apper tue? (macik buat apa tu?).

teringat le plak budak kecik nih. hu hu.

hari2 terakhir Ramadhan 1430

it all started with a mission, to make ourselves happy and contented.

so after a couple of grueling months of raising fund, alhamdulillah we finally managed to raise just enough money to kickstart our very first program outside of KL/Selangor this year. from opening car boot sale by selling all item for RM1 (dapat la seminggu dekat average rm200++) to donation from umat islam yang berhati mulia (dan hebat dimata saya), all we can think of is semoga cukupp la duit utk buat program nih.

lepastu dapat lagik barang2 seperti BERNAS yang derma beras dekat bertan-tan, sewa lori 1 tan tau nak angkat berat to HQ. alhamdulillah. banyak lagi derma yang kami dapat, hanya Allah sahaja yang dapat balas budi baik semua orang.
we headed to Chemor for Sahur and Buka Puasa program which involved 2 different anak yatim homes. Sahur adalah yang paling cute sebab budak2 kecik yang mengantok bangun untuk sahur, ahhh, those were really beautiful moments. tercuit hati nih. bukan setakat budak2 tu yg mengantok, kami ni kalu sorong bantal, hi hi, sama jugak la kaedahnyaaa.

and one of the kid made me wept silently, bilamana, tazkirah subuh tu, one of us tanya one of the kid, apa itu akhlak mulia?
irfan, i remembered him because he is such a witty kid from the beginning, answered, akhlak yang mulia adalah tolong ustaz basuh pinggan.
terus meleleh air mata makkk.

Buka Puasa pula with rumah anak yatim yang ramai dah jadi teruna so it was really good to see them moulded the right way. nasyid pun sedap, boleh jadi imam lagi. alhamdulillah. berkat bulan Ramadhan, kami yang jauh2 ni drive daripada KL pun tak berasa letih sangat. seronok la kan tengok budak2 tu happy.


come to think of it, it is not about helping other people, it is about helping ourselves, to feel bless and grateful of what we have instead of complaining of what we dont have.

semoga ayat saya difahami tehehehe oleh itu, sama2 kita celebrate life hmkayy?

lets start with merdeka ;)

i spent my merdeka night watching 'Orphan' and quickly get back to my friend's temporary home.
as ridiculous at it sounds, watching firecracker was the sole reason why we went home early. tapi bila tunggu punya tunggu, mana ada bunga api daaa. tahun ni tadek kan dekat klcc? but we heard loud bangs of firecrackers but couldnt trace where it came from.

tapi tak pe lah. tak penting pung!


we had mcDonalds for our sahur while watching solat terawih live from Mekah Al-Mukarramah on TV1 (lepastu tengak Siti Nurhaliza Satu tehehehe).

i've been repeating this countlessly, hati aku tertinggal dekat Mekah Madinah huhuhu cemana nak amik balik?
kena la pergi lagi kann.
insyaAllah, semoga Allah permudahkan urusan saya untuk ke sana lagi (baik dari segi rezeki, masa dan berbagai lagi lahh), amin!


juge, kami berbincang to dump all the works dan spend masa sebulan bulan puasa dekat Mekah. it warms my heart to think if, and only if, pintu langit dibuka masa tu, and the words that came out from us were to become granted wishes (insyaAllah), ya rabbi, Allah sahaja yang tahu the excitement nih.
so i will not lose hope (bila mikiorkan cuti seciput) dan akan tetapp doa banyak2. huhu.
